Parakey 2021 - The humble bragging edition

It was a so-called bang start to 2021, with new capital in to scale up the business and continue to grow in the market,and during the year we have had the pleasure of welcoming five new colleagues to the team in both Android development, sales and Customer Success. And then this has happened:

225,000 users and 1,000 disturbed satisfied customers

Last autumn we reached 200,000 unique users and we celebrated that with a video on social media. Now before Christmas, we are already up to 225,000, of which 80,000 were added during the year – a growth of over 55% of the total number of users! And together we have made a total of 15 million door openings! 

Universal Music, Mentimeter, Sveaviken Bostad and 140 other companies have during the year enriched their doors with mobile access from Parakey. "We now have over 1000 very satisfied customers and under 1% churn rate", says sales manager Peter Wegdell. In addition, Revelop, Lundbergs Fastigheter and our own landlord in Gothenburg, Sigillet Fastighets AB, have signed framework agreements for full-scale rollout in their properties.

Together with SafeTeam, we have also won a procurement for 1,000 doors to nodrum within the public utility Future Group in Gothenburg, where Framtidens Bredband responsible for infrastructure and internet nodes. 🎉

Parakey Stockholm - at the newly opened SPACE

New design, new Locations view in the app

Both the iOS and Android apps have been given a lovely design update - and a new Locations view! There you can see your keys under the respective place, as well as contact information for the site (which an administrator can add under Settings > Support information in the portal).

Several highlights during the year:

🏙 Another 516 locations have been enriched with mobile access from Parakey, including Platzer's Gårda Vesta. 

🥇 We have been selected for DB (Deutsche Bahn) Mindbox's startup program in the field of Smart Keys

🌟 About being selected - Parakey is a finalist in the Nordic PropTech Awards,in the property management category. It will be decided in January!

🤝 On demand from customers, we have started a collaboration with our Norwegian industry colleague Unloc,which means that our physical products are added to the list of devices that can be opened with Unloc's app

🚪Together with the door manufacturer Robust Steel Doors, we now offer doors digital and ready, from the factory equipped with Parakey PDL.

🏳️ 🌈 Our fantastic Core developer and standard bearer Jacob has raised the Parakey flag outside the head office in Gothenburg and thus given rise to the most liked post of the year on our LinkedIn

🏆 Our product videos have won the Red dot award for design.

👩💻 Our awesome Customer Success Manager Hanna Dahlström Språng helps run the Women Startup Club network.

But in 2022, there will be even more to go... 

A public beta version of our next gen portal is coming soon, which means that all administrators will have the opportunity to test the updated portal. We dare to promise a whole new level of smooth access management! More on this very soon.

Soon, it will also be easier than ever to integrate mobile access from Parakey into other apps via the SDK, and to share keys with family members or temporary visitors... Stay tuned!
