2022 at Parakey - absolutely outstanding

2022 is not over yet, but we want to highlight already what a fun and amazing year it is and has been! It started with Parakey Malmö moving into our client FirstOffice's newly opened office hotel in Västra Hamnen. We then introduced ourselves to the Norwegian market in connection with the security fair SecTech in Lillestrøm. And then this happened:

9 new colleagues, 202 new customers, 28 million in new capital & 300,000 users

We have welcomed as many as nine new colleagues in sales and sales but also other parts of the company💙Over 200 new companies have chosen to digitize their doors with smartphone access from Parakey, including the coworking players DOSPACE and iOffice, the management company Banfast and TocaBoca, which develops playful apps for children. Studentbostäder i Norden implements Parakey on its entire Swedish property portfolio and over 500,000 openings of more than 200 doors have been made at the digital cultural center SPACE🎉

Prior to the summer, Parakey carried out a directed share issue that landed at SEK 28 million. Kim and William Olsson from the Stena sphere, the ice hockey profile Mikael Samuelsson, and Henrik Garvner from Signup Software came in as new investors while the majority of existing owners defended their holdings.

In the autumn we passed a new milestone - 300,000 Parakey users, traditionally celebrated with a social media video🎥and in 2022 alone there have been more than 10 million door openings with the Parakey app (25 million in total) 🚀

An autumn with TWO outstanding product launches

On 16 September it was time. The balloons were inflated and the whole team had travelled by regional train from Gothenburg to Stockholm. It was the launch of the world's smallest access control system - Parakey Slim💥

And just over a month later it was time to blow up balloons again, when the security fair SKYDD took place and we invited to the launch together with SAFETRON🎈

But of course there have also been lots of changes in our existing products👇

More robust and smarter: massive update of Parakey PDL

The function we call Forced unlock makes it possible to unlock our professional digital lock Parakey PDL in all kinds of "error modes", e.g. if a door is not completely closed or is hanging. The function is activated if you try to unlock the same door twice within 30 seconds, but you can also force an unlock from the door's detail view (press the "i" next to the door's name).

Another update to the Parakey PDL means that the lock will revert to locked mode if you haven't pressed the handle within 30 seconds, great if you accidentally unlock via the app by mistake🤗

Lots of new features in the apps

The entire app has received a brilliant design update that makes unlocking with your phone even more enjoyable✨, the iOS app has received enhanced support for dynamic text (text will be larger if set in the Accessibility settings of your phone), installer tools to complete an in-app installation have been rolled out and thousands of users are now testing the feature to send keys directly from the app 👏

Coming soon: Parakey Next Gen Portal

This spring we released the Beta version of our updated web portal, with a new look and new features such as custom site categories, custom fields for user information and updated schedules. And soon it will be standard when you log in to the Parakey Web Portal😍
