From Parakey Web Portal, App or an integration send one or more keys

Receive a mobile key

As a new user, you will receive an email with instructions to get started directly. If you already use Parakey, you will receive a notification in the app about your new key.

Unlock with your phone

When you are near a door you have a mobile key to, the door will appear in the app. Tap on the door's name to unlock it!

The door unlocks

The app communicates, securely via encrypted Bluetooth and a unique opening message, with the installed Parakey device that unlocks the door.

Access log is created

Parakey Web Portal contains all logs, fully GDPR compliant, along with other very useful information and functionality.

Does Parakey work "offline", i.e. without an internet connection?
Yes, Parakey works completely "offline" when unlocking 👍

Parakey's app and devices communicate via encrypted Bluetooth, which increases robustness and reduces the risk of intrusion attempts.
Can I manage users and mobile keys remotely?
Of course! With Parakey, you manage who gets access to what and when no matter where you are. As an administrator, you only need a browser 👍.
What are the different ways to send a key?
A mobile key can be sent via the Parakey Cloud Service (web portal or integration) or - if enabled - directly via the Parakey app.
Do you need both a Parakey Control Unit and a Parakey PDL for a door?
No, only one Parakey unit per door is needed. The most suitable unit is determined by the type of door and the use case.
How to buy NFC stickers for the door?
An NFC sticker is always included in the package when you buy a Parakey device. If additional NFC stickers are needed, they can be ordered via order.parakey.co.
