Swedish PropTech company Parakey grows across the border - "Hei Norway!" - and presents itself to the Norwegian market at the security fair Sectech held at NOVA Spektrum in Lillestrøm on 9-10 March.

Parakey, which was founded in Gothenburg in 2014, offers property owners and other companies an all-in-one solution for mobile access where a smartphone is used to unlock doors, gates, etc.

Parakey currently has over 225,000 unique users and over 1,000 customers, mainly in Sweden. But the solution is also used at a number of places in Norway, for example in a garage operated by ONEPARK where Statsbygg and its employees use the mobile phone as a key to enter their garage.

"We officially launched Parakey in 2016 and are proud to have become, in just a few years, the largest and leading mobile access provider in the Nordic region, with margin. We have done this by working closely with our customers, like partners, to continuously develop and offer a product that has a big positive impact on their business. Now we are so excited to offer our solution in more markets and see our dear neighbour in the West - 'Hei Norway!'- as a natural next step. It will be great to meet the industry and the Norwegian market already in March!", says Parakey's CEO and co-founder Jonas Arvidsson.

On 9-10 March, Parakey will come to Sectech Norway in Lillestrøm to introduce its access solution in Norway. Meet them in stand A424.

How does Parakey work?

With Parakey, the mobile phone is the user's key to locked spaces and key management is handled easily or automated (through integration) via Parakey's cloud service. This is made possible with the professional digital lock Parakey PDL or the control unit  Parakey Control Unit which communicates via Bluetooth with the app and cloud service. The device to be installed depends on whether an electromechanical lock or other access control system is already in place, and the type of door being digitized.
