First customer in Norway🇳🇴

A bicycle garage in Oslo was the first installation of Parakey in our dear neighbor country. ONEPARK chose Parakey as the access solution to streamline administration and control of the key management of the garage.

We can now proudly announce that Norway can also open locked spaces using mobile access from Parakey. ONEPARK, a parking operator that operates most parking garages in Norway, was looking for a smooth system with a requirement that it should not impose an administrative burden on the staff.

The popular function of distributed key management, developed in consultation with several real estate companies in Sweden, was excellent for Onepark's purpose of streamlining key management by allowing the tenant to be responsible for their staff. Statsbygg, which is a tenant in the bicycle garage, will administer its own staff regarding who should have access and not, while ONEPARK will be able to have access to logs and set restrictions regarding the use.

The location of the bicycle garage inside the parking garage was also a contributing factor to Parakey being chosen as an access solution. With poor reception far inside the garage, the requirement was that a system would work "offline" and was not in need of network cabling, that is, not having to communicate over the internet. With the Bluetooth technology in Parakey's product, the user is not required to have internet access at the time of opening, as their smartphone communicates directly with the control box.
