Parakey launches digital door handle & cylinder with mobile access

Parakey continues to grow its product portfolio and now enriches more products with mobile access. Two new and highly demanded products have been launched, the digital handle Parakey Door Handle and the digital cylinder Parakey Cylinder. The new products require neither wired power nor internet and can be installed both inside and outside, which now enables mobile access to all doors.

This week, Proptech company Parakey showcased its new products for the first time at the Sectech security fair in Stockholm.

"Our customers are very satisfied with Parakey and how the smartphone works as a key, and then naturally want to be able to enrich all their doors with mobile access. Therefore, we are now very proud to present the digital, elegant and high-quality Parakey Door Handle and Parakey Cylinder. With these new products, everything from office doors, conference rooms and storage rooms to apartment doors, laundry rooms or even padlocks can be enriched with mobile access from Parakey", says Parakey's CEO Jonas Arvidsson.   

Both Parakey Door Handle and Parakey Cylinder can be installed indoors and outdoors as each product is also available as a weatherproof variant (IP66). All electronics are integrated in the handle and the cylinder, both of which are powered by battery, they require no other infrastructure either in the form of internet connection, wired power or hub.

Like other Parakey devices, the new products are not connected to the internet, making them more robust and reliable, with the highest level of security. Unlocking with the Parakey app is secure with unique encrypted opening messages, via Bluetooth.
