Safe and secure with mobile access at Torslanda GK
When golfers become members of Torslanda GK in Gothenburg and want access to changing rooms, bag storage and more, mobile access is issued with a few clicks in Parakey's web portal. We have met Marianne Palm who works at the reception at the club and handles the members' access.
Previously, Torslanda GK used a traditional system where you would draw a access card to enter, but in 2018 they switched to Parakey and today have 1900 users unlocking doors at the golf club with their smartphones.
"It's reassuring to know that it's locked, and to be able to follow up on who has gone in where and when if something should happen," marianne said. "It was mainly because of security aspects that we chose to switch to mobile keys, but also to be able to offer our members a modern solution - golfers want the latest."
We meet Marianne at the beginning of summer 2021 when the restrictions have begun to ease, but she highlights the agility of being able to log in and administer access remotely, from home during the pandemic. She also thinks Parakey's support has been very good, with quick answers when she has wondered something.
"It's hard to just lift a value with mobile keys," Marianne continues. "You provide an asset that adds value to the members, who get access at more generous times. It's also good to be able to quickly change when it should be locked, really needs-adapted, and it's easy to change the schedule."
She then refers to the possibility of activating and editing a security scheme for a mobile key, where an administrator via Parakey Web Portal sets restrictions on the days and times the key can be used. Marianne experiences the web portal as user-friendly and clear regarding colors and texts.
"It's so easy to send out a key to new members, usually we do it when a new member comes here for the first time. Sometimes people have poor coverage at the reception and then I usually tell them to 'go out and stand on the stairs and the invitation will come'," Marianne laughs. "The service is easy to convey to members and people think Parakey is great."
