Parakey expands team with senior designer

It started with the mission to take a closer look at the design and ease of use in our mobile apps. In his new role as a designer with us at Parakey, Jovan Velkoski now takes overall responsibility for our visual expression - in app, portal and communication.

"We have lacked someone who takes full responsibility for the user-friendliness and the graphic, with a common thread from the app and web portal to our external communication, such as our web and our social media. We are so happy to now have Jovan and his expertise in design and UX/UI with us", says our CEO Jonas Arvidsson.

Jovan holds a Master of Arts, Design & Applied Arts from HDK - School of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg. He comes most recently from Universal Avenue where he has worked with planning and implementation of design. Previously he has also lived and worked as a designer and art director in Japan.

In October, Jovan took a desk with us at Parakey (at the time of writing he works from home). Among other things, he has developed design systems for the different parts of our solution and our visual communication and is now continuing to work on implementing this. There is a lot of neat to look forward to.

What made you decide to join Parakey?
- A passionate team that communicates to solve problems and grow further, the product is a clear result of that combination.

What are you looking forward to achieving at Parakey?
- Design that is easy to use and can grow as needed.

What do you like to do on your vacation?
- Being close to the sea, reading to music and having a good meal, preferably with new glasses 😎. 

If you were a fictional character, which TV show would you be in?
- Mandalorian has it all, space travel, adventure and new cultures.
