Parakey PDL - New and improved lock case in early fall

Updated information (September 2023): Unfortunately, we have to announce that the delivery date is shifted from fall 2023 to the first quarter of 2024.

In the autumn of 2020, we at Parakey launched the professional digital lock Parakey PDL. It has been very well received in the market and continuously developed further after feedback from our customers and users. In early fall 2023, we will release a new and improved version of the lock house - Parakey PDL 2.0!

Since the launch in 2020, Parakey PDL has received several software updates that have made the lock more competent, robust and it has been continuously enriched with new functionality. The next big step will result in several improvements for the electromechanical lock case. Together with our lock partner, dormakaba , we are now further developing the lock case for, among other things

• an improved handling of doors with high list pressure
• a smoother experience when the handle is pressed down
• possibility to install in more door environments

Preliminary deliveries in September

The improvements in the product together with longer delivery times in the manufacturing chain mean that Parakey PDL is tentatively only available in September 2023 - then with updated electromechanical lock case. 

Already placed orders and orders placed in the near future will therefore become reservations for the next version of Parakey PDL, with preliminary delivery in September.
