Kalle Roos, Franchisee/CEO, Electrolux Home Täby
In the newly opened Electrolux Home-store in Täby, the staff does not open the doors with traditional keys - but with the smartphone. Parakey creates a flexible, flexible and secure access solution, perfectly adapted to the store's needs and which simplifies their everyday life.
"Do you want it hard or easy?"
Franchisee Kalle Roos meets us outside Electrolux Home and opens the warehouse door with a simple push of a button in the Parakey app. The lock clicks and the door opens. "Absolutely magical," he says, smiling. "That's exactly why we work with Parakey - you press a button and you're in. Do you want it hard or do you want it easy?"
He shows us the way into the 500 square meter store and then offers an inspiring tour of high-quality kitchens and appliances. "Everything related to the kitchen and home can be found here," he says.
Kalle explains why the choice fell on Parakey as an access control system and partly mentions the flexibility as crucial. Being able to quickly and smoothly provide customized access to their employees - full-time employees, part-time staff, temporary staff - with different schedules, he describes as one of the great advantages:
"Having Parakey in a store like this really makes everyday life easier. We are many who work extra and at different times, and it is very easy to manage and keep track of both temporary and permanent keys."
The same goes for deliveries, which often take place early in the morning or late at night, when the store is closed. With Parakey, Electrolux Home can provide temporary access to suppliers - without any staff having to be on place.
"It's really flexible and works really well," says Kalle.
💡 Stores that work with a digital scheduling tool can further facilitate the administration by integrating it with Parakey, thus automating access directly to the schedule.
"It's safe, simple and works like a charm"
Kalle goes on to explain that safety was a high priority and another deciding factor behind the choice:
"White goods cost money and are prone to theft and for that reason we have chosen Parakey, to also be able to connect it both with our alarm system and camera surveillance".
He continues:
"We can control the locking of the premises at the touch of a button, instead of having to go on a lockdown tour every night and risk missing something. Plus, we can be sure that only authorized staff have access to the store - and only during the hours they are actually working. It's secure, it's simple and it really works like a charm."
Parakey in unmanned stores
Thanks to the high security, Parakey also works in unmanned stores, which the Norwegian company Brødrene Dahl AS is a good example of. The wholesaler in plumbing, water and industry has quickly digitized access to about 25 stores. This has enabled them to be open around the clock, even without staffing.
