A house first in Sweden with Parakey's digital door handle
Moa Gamlin, Community Manager A house Börshuset
On February 1, A house opened a new creative coworking in Slakthusområdet - Börshuset. There they are the first in Sweden to use Parakey's digital door handle with mobile access.
A house is now on an exciting expansion journey with many new coworking destinations in the pipeline. Two days before the opening of A house Börshuset, we got the chance to step into the creative environment of the new destination in Slakthusområdet. There, we met Community Manager Moa Gamlin among magnificent old chandeliers, newly built staircases, lovely furniture from auctions and places in the Netherlands, and of course - newly launched and installed digital handles from Parakey.
In Börshuset, Parakey Door Handle is installed in members' offices, meeting rooms (which can also be booked externally) and the A house team's storage and private spaces.
"Until today, we have mainly worked with traditional access, but now that we are on an expansion journey and open more places, we want to be at the forefront and therefore we choose to switch to Parakey and digital access," says Moa. "To put it bluntly, when you think of mobile access, it is Parakey that pops up."
When she started at A house, it was already decided that it was Parakey they would use, which made Moa very happy because she had such a good experience with Parakey from her previous workplace.
She also emphasized the agility of a business that has a lot of people moving in and out of their premises, such as new tenants and people who come and sit with them for a day and only have access for a limited period of time.
"The system works great, it feels very user-friendly, you understand it very easily and if there are any questions that arise, Parakey's support is very quick to respond."
Just outside the main entrance to Börshuset is the iconic 'Slakthusområdet' sign, an old area with lots of new things going on, from new restaurants to cool companies moving in. A house Börshuset moved in here in February this year.
"Parakey feels very safe, waterproof both for us who administer the system but also for the user who will unlock the doors. We do not have to worry about the system being down, but if you download the app, everything is up and running if we have entered the right accesses."
