Parakey develops digital lock with Wallenstam, Stena Fastigheter, Klövern and Fabege

PropTech company Parakey has together with some of Sweden's largest real estate companies identified the need for a professional digital lock that can be used in both commercial properties and apartment buildings. During the spring, a steering group was formed with the aim of jointly developing and developing the next generation of professional digital locks, in order to better meet the demand for secure, flexible and scalable digital locks from customers in all segments ofthe real estate market.

"There are today many smart locks on the market, but nothing equivalent to a professional digital lock in terms of security, scalability and the need for digitized accesses. It is unique and very valuable for us at Parakey to implement this major product development project together with some selected leading players in the real estate industry," says Jonas Arvidsson, CEO of Parakey.

Parakey and dormakaba , one of the world's largest suppliers of security products, has initiated cooperation to develop a completely new type of digital lock called Parakey PDL (Professional Digital Lock). A steering group, consisting of representatives from Fabege, Klövern, Stena Fastigheter and Wallenstam, is set up to act as a requirement, contribute with input based on digital strategies and ensure the development of a secure, cost-effective and scalable digital lock for professional use.

Parakey already delivers digital access solutions aimed at commercial properties, offices, gyms, parking and coworking. With Parakey PDL, more types of door environments inside the shell protection will now be enriched with Parakey. At the same time, Parakey PDL will also be able to be used in apartment buildings, as the lock is also applicable on apartment doors.
