Parakey at the South Station Garages: "You deliver a very good product"

On Södermalm in Stockholm, you will find the Södra stationgaragen community association with 750 parking spaces in nine garages. In early 2022, Parakey was installed in all garages and members are very satisfied. Olle Wallin, a member of the association's board, tells us more.

"We have 1,750 users and have heard nothing but positive things about Parakey from our tenants. Many have been very positive," says Olle. "The implementation went smoothly, we got great support from you. I must say that it went surprisingly well."

Olle says that one of the reasons why the association switched to mobile access from Parakey was that they wanted a faster entry, i.e. that the gate does not have to be open for as long. This reduces the risk of unauthorized people sneaking in and increases security in the garages.

"In the past, you had to get out of your car to open the door, which was left open for a long time. Now you can open it quickly and elegantly via the smartphone - security has improved."

He also points out that it has become more difficult to sublet illegally. A person who is to have access needs to be registered, it's not just passing on the key fob.

Even the display of a garage space, which previously required manual handling, has been simplified. "Now we can give a temporary access and don't need to have staff at place to show. It makes the whole rental process easier!"

Same when it comes to assigning contractors access. Now you don't have to go anywhere to drop off and pick up trays. "There was a lot of management around that," says Olle.

HSB manages the garages and thus handles access management. Olle says that they are also very satisfied and find it easy to manage mobile keys with Parakey.

Finally, Olle also says that he thinks Parakey differs from other suppliers by being more digital in its customer communication. "Logical when you sell the kind of systems you do. It's consistent and you've developed that really well. You deliver a very good product."
