1. Reduced handling of physical keys

Real estate companies, coworking operators, gym owners, parking operators and others - yes, most of our customers highlight the reduced handling of physical keys, fobs and access cards as a main reason why they choose to implement mobile access. Programming, handing out and getting back physical key carriers takes more time than you think. At most real estate companies, up to 40% of a manager's time can be spent on key-related issues. In pandemic times, it is also advantageous to be able to distribute and gain access without having to meet anyone physically.

So instead of messing it up, an administrator logs into a web-based interface and sends out mobile keys in seconds. The administrator can then also put time limits on keys, so as not to have to think more about when a key should be recovered.

2. Reduced costs

Purchasing access control solutions with associated physical key carriers and extensive cabling to launch the system is costly. So is the time required to administer it all. These costs are automatically saved when implementing mobile access.

Parakey's hardware is quickly installed, without unnecessary electronics or the need for internet connectivity infrastructure (the hardware works offline with Bluetooth LE) and allocation access is done with a few clicks in a user-friendly interface, or managed fully automated through integration with business, real estate or booking systems.

3. Easier and safer everyday life for your tenants and customers

With mobile access, everyday life becomes easier for your customers too. Those who are active in a commercial property do not have to memorize more port codes or wait for another colleague to come to work when the access card has been left at home on a stressful morning (the smartphone is not often forgotten). Tenants can easily hand out a mobile key to someone who comes to visit or book the common room and gain access without having to collect a key.

No more keys, fobs and cards to keep track of. No more keys, fobs and cards on the move, leading to increased security in the property.

4. Increased safety and control

That said - no more keys, fobs and cards on the go. With mobile access, an administrator always has full control over who has access where and when. In Parakey Web Portal there are logs with high traceability regarding both passage and administration, and in accordance with the GDPR, an administrator can set how long this information should be saved. A property owner who has delegated administration to his tenants can only see logs regarding shell protection.

At Parakey, safety is our top priority. Please read on about how we ensure robustness in our platform.
