Parakey sums up the past year: 2023 - success!

96 565 new users in 2023 (400 000 in total) and 1658 new locations enriched with mobile access. In addition, over 1.6 million mobile keys were sent and 15 million unlocks were made with the Parakey app (40 million unlocks in total) 🎉. We humbly thank you for 2023 and look forward to continued success!

2 new offices, 2 new colleagues & 10 client cases

2023 began with Parakey HQ moving to Entreprenörsgatan's latest coworking facility at Sankt Eriksgatan 6 in Gothenburg, where all doors are equipped with mobile access from Parakey. A few months later, one of Entreprenörsgatan's co-founders sat in front of the camera and told us about his experience of Parakey and what he sees as the greatest value of mobile access.

We have had the pleasure of making 10 customer cases and hearing what Parakey administrators in large offices, coworking facilities, real estate companies and in parking in the country's three largest cities say about digital access management. For example, we have made not just one, but two cases with IOFFICE.

And speaking of IOFFICE, Parakey Stockholm has also moved to a new office - at the newly opened IOFFICE facility at Olof Palmes gata 11. Hooray 🎊!

And speaking of cheering, we have two new colleagues in the Core team, the team that ensures that it is always as easy as everyone says to send 1 or 1000s of mobile keys to 1 or 1000s of users via Parakey Cloud Service (web portal and API) 🧑‍💻

2 new products and many new features

Already in the first half of the year, many incredible features were released in the apps, such as "favorites", support for dark mode and smooth installer tools, as well as widgets for the iOS app. Of course, the new web portal, the engine and heart of Parakey, has also been updated with lots of goodies. For example, two-factor authentication can be enabled for login in the new portal to further increase security. And what was previously called Doors has been renamed Locks - after all, everything from doors to driving gates and padlocks can be enriched with mobile access from Parakey! 🔑📲

Speaking of enriching padlocks with mobile access, this is made possible by one of this autumn's two new products - Parakey Cylinder, a flexible electronic cylinder of the highest quality to digitize all possible locks!

The second new product of the fall, the elegant Parakey Door Handle, makes it possible to enrich any door, both indoor and outdoor, with mobile access💥.

Now we are looking forward to start sending out these goodies in the first quarter 📦.

What else is happening in 2024?

♾️ Our products will be continuously enriched with brilliant updates and new functionality. A secure solution that always works cannot stand still - Parakey is in constant development to meet the needs of the market.

🇺🇸 This spring, our CEO Jonas Arvidsson and our CSO Peter Wegdell make a comeback at the ISC West security fair in Las Vegas to showcase Parakey Door Handle and Parakey Cylinder for the American market.

🔈 In April, Jonas also makes a comeback at Dagens Industri's event Di Proptech where he will participate in an exciting panel discussion - don't miss it!

🎈 In October, it's time for this year's edition of the security fair SKYDD in Stockholm. We can't promise that we won't be blowing up balloons for the occasion.

🥳 And last, but certainly not least: in 2024, Parakey will be 10 years old!
